Executive Transitions 2.0
Overview
This market survey, co-produced by The Institute of Executive Development (IED) and Alexcel Group, examines the transitions that top executives make into and through organizations, and road blocks that can occur in the process.
Research findings from the 2008 Executive Transitions study by IED and Alexcel Group indicate that the issues and challenges faced by external executive hires and internal transfers are similar; however the organizational support provided differs dramatically. This survey examines more deeply the issues pertaining to internal executive promotions and transfers and what can be done to increase executive performance.
Survey respondents include a cross section of clients of both IED and Alexcel Group, and represent a variety of industries and organization sizes. The respondents will receive an executive summary of the survey when published.
All responses remain confidential, and are reported in aggregate form only.
